  • With Tara’s coaching and advice, I successfully completed a one month elimination diet and found that in doing so, I learned how to eat in a way that worked better for my system. Tara’s explanations for eliminating certain foods for a period of time, and then how to reintroduce them back into my diet made the seemingly daunting regime achievable.  Ultimately, the process relieved the complaints and discomfort that brought me to Tara in the first place, after years of failed attempts to do so through investigations by my family doctor. Tara’s approach to nutrition and her clients is not ‘one-size fits all’. She asked all the right questions, listened to my experience and prepared an individualized plan for me that was responsive to my lifestyle and the types of foods and ingredients that I had access to.   • “This summer I was introduced to the Rahua Elixir by Tara from the Health Hut, as a good product to help with scalp irritations, particularly eczema and psoriasis. I have been plagued with ongoing itchiness, flaking, redness, swelling and pain for over 10 years.

    I have been to Doctors, skin specialists and holistic practitioners and tried everything from prescription solutions to natural oils in my effort to combat the problem.   • “Back in May of 20 11, I read a Blog on Tara’s website about a spring liver cleanse. I read it several times and something in it struck a chord deep within me. I vowed that I would spend the month following those guidelines and see how I felt at the end of the process.

    At that point in my life, I was overweight, unhealthy and looking to make a change. I knew my eating habits needed some “reconstruction” and I was desperately looking for the challenge that would peak my interest enough to delve wholeheartedly into a new world of eating right and taking care of myself.

    After the first week, I felt a real change in myself. I had more energy, I was sleeping better and just generally felt better. After the month was over, I was reenergized.   • “After many years of constant bowel problems I realized that enough was enough and I needed to find a fix. I had brought this issue up with my doctor before and he provided me with advice that yielded no improvement. Discouraged, I decided to look for an alternative. After discussing my situation in depth with Tara she suspected that I had an allergy. Tara decided that the best course of action was to do an elimination diet and then slowly reintroduce specific foods back into my diet to determine what the allergy was. The first couple of weeks were extremely tough, physically and mentally, and if it weren’t for Tara’s continued encouragement and discipline I would not have been able to stick out the initial rough phase.

    After reintroducing all food types back into my daily diet Tara established that there were two types of foods that were “triggers” for my problem.
